The Bonneville Wrecking Crew race team.

Wrecking Crew was formed by Guy Mobbley. His encounter with Ernie Beckman from the original Indian Wrecking Crew race team years ago prompted the current name of the Bonneville Wrecking Crew today. The Bonneville Wrecking Crew is going for its 10th Land Speed Record this coming year. Our riders have managed to set nine records in five years on six different motorcycles. Six of those land speed titles are still current.

Special thanks to all of the Wrecking Crew members for there contributions in helping this team achieve its goal nine times. Our records and achievements at the Bonneville Salt Flats consist of:
2004-P/PG-1650cc Class-126.680mph.
2005-A/PP-3000cc Class-139.620mph.
2006-M/VG-1350cc Class-100.022mph.
2006-P/PV-500cc Class-112.467mph.
2007-P/PP-3000cc Class-132.744mph.
2008-M/AG-1000cc Class-171.06mph.
2008-P/PV-1350cc Class-84.33mph.

Wrecking Crew has also received a trophy and a $1000.00 cash prize for the fastest metric cruiser in 2005. Our time that won the award was 140.601mph.
Wrecking Crew also received the tracks most coveted honor following the event in 2007. We were presented the official starting flag for the 2007 BUB motorcycle speed trials. This flag was signed by Ken Saillant the director of flat track, AMA racing, and FIM clerk of the course. The flag was also signed by Drew Gatewood, FIM chief technical steward. This honor is not won it was rather bestowed and presented to us. Please accept our deepest thanks and appreciation for this award form the entire crew.
